Vectrex demo released in 2020. Reached #02 at the 2020 edition of Flashparty oldskool demo competition. This demo has been created during my “demoscene crisis” period, and marks the end of my collaboration with Onslaught.

I started this project to experiment on the XY display of the Vectrex. Roughly 60% of the demo was ready 3 years before the release collecting dust on my hard disk. I asked my friend Razdee to contribute and we ended up with the finished product.
We tried to maximise the number of lines displayed on screen by using custom drawing routines, mostly adaptations of the built-in kernel ones. None of us had programmed on the Motorola 6809 CPU before, so we didn’t fully exploit its potential. Testing on real hardware is a must with such a platform, but we didn’t had a MicroSD cart at that time, so I ended up testing by manually burning EPROMS, quite a time consuming approach!
